Redstart Design has designed and developed a range of AR15 & AR10 rifles for military and government use. This is in collaboration with DSAT Rifles, Devon.
The Project
DSA Technologies Ltd (DSAT) is a UK-based company committed to offering a high standard of manufacturing for the rifles, thanks to partnering with Redstart.
We continuously utilise the latest CAD design and CNC equipment to maintain quality standards. All components are machined in the UK, ensuring continued supply and support of spare units.
All components are CNC manufactured and designed in conjunction with a UK SF weapon representative. We proudly support our defence and law enforcement services whilst contributing to the British economy.
Under our reinvestment policy, we are committed to developing new technology whilst supporting the next generation of engineers and the British Armed Forces Covenant.
The DSAT range of rifles is available in any configuration for Military and Police applications, from selective to semi-automatic fire.
Because the barrels we manufacture can be custom-made, a wide range of built-to-order lengths are available.

- Billet machined Upper and Lower Receiver in T6-7075
- Semi-monolithic Upper Receiver, utilising a continuous Picatinny rail
- Fully interchangeable Uppers and Lowers
- All ancillaries interchangeable with AR-15 rifles used by NATO member countries
- Ambidextrous safety, magazine release and bolt hold open
- Utilises standard AR-15 magazines
- M-LokTM rail attachment on three sides of the handguard
- Military specification buffer tubes
